Mini Cooper (Part of BMW) is a favorite among urban dwellers who like to combine style, performance, and easy parking. Mini’s interest and expertise in serving urban markets explain why it decided to start funding startups who seek to improve urban life, inviting select ventures to keep developing at their Greenpoint Brooklyn innovation space where they receive mentorship, introductions to relevant players, and funding. Each new cohort meets the public at a big launch party. Visualize Good was contracted to draw visual interviews of some of the cohort companies. Event attendees were also encouraged to draw on the posters. and add ideas with post-its. The companies offered services from smart garbage collection to robotic construction services.
